Ding Zilin, the founder and leader of the Tiananmen Mothers wrote a book in 2005 about the victims of the Tiananmen Massacre. Over the course of the next two weeks, we will be releasing excerpts from her book in English.
Cheng Renxing, a male from Hubei Province’s Tongshan County, had his life stolen away from him when he was just twenty-five years old. Cheng had majored in English at the Central China Normal University’s Foreign Language Department in Wuhan, and in 1987, he began graduate studies at the People’s University of China’s Institute for Soviet and Eastern European Studies.
